  • Co-developed the Monarch Village program, a community of 12 tiny houses built to shelter families, by creating programming; researching and implementing best practices for tiny house communities; childproofing and adding storage to the tiny houses; and successfully co-facilitating the intake of 2 families 

  • Co-operated the temporary cold weather hotel shelter for 30 days which included maintaining the safety of over 80 hotel guests; providing care coordination and housing navigation; directing grocery delivery with a team of 4 volunteers; and orchestrating the shut down of the hotel shelter by attempting to ensure all guests exited to permanent housing (25 households), to an improved situation (12), or to sheltered or unsheltered homelessness (8)

  • Facilitated coordination of care for 10 shelter guests by making referrals to appropriate community partners, applying for necessary documents, and assisting with making and maintaining appointments with health care providers

  • Published 4 written pieces as a staff writer for the Peace Corps China publication, Rice Paper, including a research piece on “copycat culture” and an interview with local entrepreneurs about gender inequality in China
